Bio

As a Chartered Accountant with a B.Com (Accounting) Stellenbosch and Honours Degree from Unisa, after serving as CEO of Allwear previously Veka, and director of Capitec, in 2001 the family decided to relocate to Hermanus for a better quality of life.

Almero is the proud grandfather to five grandchildren. A keen traveller, fond of exploring the sights and sounds of international cultures and loves walking the Hermanus mountains.

He enjoys the company of likeminded wine lovers. It’s his vocal talent that lead him to join the local choir and the participation in numerous European competitions.
